With
summer now upon us, what could be better than a nice relaxing beer, wine or
cider to unwind at the end of the day?
Given
the recent resurge in popularity of cider, we are now able to offer an
interesting selection from the famous Thatcher’s
Cider Company in
Somerset
. Thatcher’s
have been making cider in
Somerset
from freshly pressed English apples for almost 100 years and this experience
shines through in the quality of their current offerings. The single varietal
range we are currently offering use individual apple varieties; this
beautifully displays each variety’s characteristics, which ensures that
there is a style to suit all tastes.
We
also have on offer Thatcher’s
Rum Oak Matured Cider. Aged in rum barrels, this cider has a smooth
flavour, a distinct touch of demarera and a subtle aroma.
For
something ‘deliciously different’, why not try a bottle of Thatcher’s
Pear Cider? Produced using only English pears, this cider is
extremely satisfying and very refreshing, especially when served over ice.
And
for the wine drinkers…
We
have recently added four wines from
Devon
to our list.
Cleave
Dry
and Cleave
Meadow Medium Dry are two white table wines from Down St. Mary
Vineyard at Crediton, whilst from Old Walls Vineyard at Bishopsteignton we are
offering their Rose
Table Wine and Palace
Red. All four are exceptionally well made, and we are pleased to be
able to offer these local wines to a wider audience.

but not least, the beer!
