New
Beers For The Summer Season
Four new beers have recently been
added to our range from Blackdown
Brewery at Dunkeswell.
Devon’s Pride at 3.8%abv is
an excellent rich bronze traditional ale. Light and distinctly drinkable,
subtly hopped and with a well balanced bitter sweet flavour, it is brewed to
satisfy the most discerning palate.
Gold at 4.3%abv is
an exceptionally fine golden pale ale. It is brewed using the finest
ingredients; the malt infusion and the hop flowers are vigorously boiled
producing a clean, crisp fruity moreish taste to this premium quality, late
hopped ale.
Premium at 4.7%abv is a
rich dark brown ale. A beer with a generous full bodied flavour and sensuous
character, it’s late hopping with Goldings
hops promotes a lasting moreish after taste and full aroma.
Dark Side at 5.0%abv is a
dark majestic traditional ale. Brewed with pale malt and generous helpings of
chocolate malt, this late hopped beer provides a rich, aromatic, full
flavoured taste.
New
lines from two other

breweries have also been introduced
Summerskills Brewery
Best Bitter at 4.3% is produced using none other than Tuckers’ Malt and English hops to give a bitter with a full malt
flavour and an aroma of malt, nuts and hops.
Country Life Brewery Devonshire 10’der’
at 10%abv is a strong
Devon
ale, very warming and rich this is one ale to drink with care!
New
to the Range for the Cider Drinkers
Green Valley Dragon Tears
at 4.7%abv is a dry, sparkling Devon Cider made from freshly pressed
Devon
apples.
Green Valley St. George’s
Temptation
at 4.7%abv is a sweet, sparkling Devon Cider
Green Valley Stillwood
Sparkling Vintage Cider
is medium dry and made from
Devon
apples free from chemical sprays and artificial fertilisers. Full-bodied and
at 8.3%abv, satisfyingly strong!
Cider
can be a great summer thirst quencher, our current Maltsters
Choice highlights a wide selection, which we are sure will include something to suit all
tastes, you could even try serving over ice!
