Established in Ashburton on the edge of Dartmoor in 1831, Edwin Tucker’s is one of the oldest independent agricultural companies in Britain. Our diversified interests within the food (& drink) supply chain make us truly unique.
For over 180 years we have specialised in supplying top quality seeds to West Country farmers as well as animal feeds, fertilisers and other agricultural requirements. We have also developed a special interest in horticultural and garden seeds and now supply thousands of customers by mail order all over the country and beyond.
Tucker’s Maltings in Newton Abbot is one of only four malt houses still producing malt in the traditional way and the only one in England that is open to the public for regular guided tours.
Our Speciality Bottled Beer Shop at the Maltings sells a wide range of beers, many of which are brewed using our malt. These are also available by mail order and can be ordered on the web using our on-line ordering facility.
Our thriving Country Stores based in the Devon market towns of Ashburton and Crediton sell everything a country dweller is likely to need, whether for pets, horses, gardening, smallholders or for your farm.
